The Governess was published from 1993 to 1999. Those who were unable at the time to acquire copies of what was (and remains) certainly the most refined Journal of Romantic (Traditional) Discipline ever promulgated may now read the earlier canon in the form of The Governess Compendium, a republication of the first 12 issues of The Governess in three volumes, each containing four entire issues--a total of over 400 pages, lavishly illustrated.
